Ideally, the face has a slightly oval shape. Bitchat fat pads are fat areas in the lower cheeks that may cause a rounded-chubby cheeks appearance in certain patients. By removing these fat pads, the face takes on a more attractive look and a better profile.

What can be achieved with Buccal fat pad removal?

  • To correct excessive roundness of the face

  • To improve the appearance of light complexion people, who look overweight

  • To redefine the natural face features, looking more attractive and youthful

How is the procedure done?

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia with or without sedation, a small incision is made inside the mouth, on the inside of the cheek at the level of the molars, through this incision, the fat pads are removed and closes the incision with a suture that later will be absorbed by the body .

Recovery

You can go home on the day the procedure is done. You must keep rest within the next two days to reduce irritation. Medicines for pain, swelling and antibiotics will be prescribed. Stiches are not removed as these are absorbed by themself.

Frequent questions
